In Titus 1, Paul is concerned about “rebellious men, empty talkers, and deceivers” (v. 10) in the church. He commands Titus to “reprove them severely so that they may be sound in the faith” (v. 13).
How often do we reprove sin at all – much less “severely”? Would Paul countenance our tolerant, milk-and-water approach to sin? Does God?
