with an instant Google search?
Do we long to dwell with God all the days of our life
or do we prefer surfing the web all the hours of our days?
Is abiding in Christ less attractive
than abounding in “likes”?
Have we given up the practice of stillness
for the pursuit of stimulation?
Are we attentive to the voice of the Spirit
or deafened by the noise of the ‘Net?
Do we turn for direction to God’s Word in our heart
or to our smartphone in our pocket?
Are we giving God our spiritual worship
or craving spirited entertainment?
Do we feed each day on the Word of God
or on the words of our feeds?
Have we exchanged the truth of God
for a lie?
